Celebration Update

Each year Fortune Academy holds an annual CELEBRATION event.  While this is always our biggest fundraising event,  this is a time for us to gather together for this special occasion to commemorate and honor the students of Fortune Academy.  We celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of our current students and hear about the transforming story of one of our alumni.  We rally together to support a designated project with our Fund a Need campaign, and we open up our hearts with generosity toward supporting the mission of Fortune Academy to develop confident and competent lifelong learners through our specialized intervention programs using the OG approach.

While hope does exist that we are turning a corner on the pandemic, gathering together in large groups will, unfortunately, be a little further down the road than we had originally planned.  After polling both our families and supporters, we feel that it is in the interest of everyone’s health and wellness that we do not host an in-person event, but rather a “virtual-only CELEBRATION”

Our Event Manager has been working diligently and has come up with a FANTASTIC, ENGAGING, AND FUN FOR FAMILIES  online alternative for our annual in-person Celebration event.

We felt it was most important to add a social component this year to our online silent auction. So we are very pleased to announce……  VIRTUAL TRIVIA NIGHT along with our silent auction Saturday, May 1, 2021.

This fun, interactive, kid and family-friendly virtual trivia competition will be personally hosted by and feature Hambone’s Trivia. Our team “Trivia Players” will participate via a private YouTube channel, with parts of the CELEBRATION being live-streamed from the gymnasium of Fortune Academy via the Qtego Auction event website.
Hambone’s creates entertaining, immersive, experiential games that require reason, not just recall so every one of ALL AGES can play, no matter your level of trivia knowledge.
