"Where is my home?" was the name of the project made by 2nd to 4th grades. They applied their knowledge about wild animals and their habitats creating three dimensional pieces of art and landscapes. The goal was learning and applying principles of proportion and improving social skills through team work.
Shapes and Colors is the name of the project that the 5th and 6th grades are finishing this week. Understanding and applying characteristics of the elements of art, learning about Abstract Art and its great artists and creating Abstract Art were the goals for this project. They created geometric art compositions and color wheels. As a team, they made compositions inspired by artists like Kandinsky, Sonia Delaunay and Mondrian.
