A Special Guest For An Incredible Training

Incredible is all I can say about our faculty training today!  Well, I can say more - lots more. 

Today we welcomed Jessica Minahan, co-author of The Behavior Code, to lead us in an entire day of staff development. It was INCREDIBLE! 

Here is one big take-away:

We can lose 13-20 IQ points in a moment of anxiety! Yikes! This is just one reason why Fortune Academy is so important for our children. Reducing anxiety allows learning to take place. Providing a safe learning environment is the first step to learning. 

We look forward to the thousands of steps that happen this year at our school-one step at a time.
